“Two are better off than one, because together they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up.” – Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (GNT)

Do you want to achieve great things in your life? The secret lies in aligning with others. While working alone can be good, it doesn’t let you achieve as much as when you collaborate. When you align with others, you can accomplish great things, and you’ll do so more quickly. This is why nations have presidents, vice presidents, secretaries of state, and other leaders. Small tasks may not need many hands, but big ones do.

Over the years, I’ve heard the saying, “No man is an island,” and I believe it’s true. The more people you have to get things done, the faster and more effectively it will be accomplished, resulting in something greater. In a nutshell, two are indeed better than one. It’s unrealistic to think you can achieve all your goals for the year alone. You might want to consider seeking help, getting advice on that new project, finding someone to help structure your business, or even partnering with others if you lack the necessary funds to go it alone. What I’m saying is that the things you want to achieve in life can be better accomplished if you team up with others.

Even the famous King Solomon, with all his wisdom, didn’t work alone. When he wanted to build the Lord’s temple, the Bible says in 2 Chronicles 2:2, “Solomon selected seventy thousand men to bear burdens, eighty thousand to quarry stones in the mountains, and three thousand six hundred to oversee them.” Amazing, isn’t it? He appointed three thousand six hundred overseers because he desired perfection. The temple and palace he built must have been magnificent to require such a large team. That’s why I said earlier, only great things often need many hands.

With a helping hand, more work can be accomplished because if one person makes a mistake, there’s someone else to correct it. So, start thinking about aligning with others to accomplish your goals and purposes more easily and quickly.
