“…For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil…”1 Peter 3:12 (NKJV)
Do you sometimes feel as though God is not seeing what is going on with you? Well, incase you feel that way from time to time, I have news for you. His eyes are always on you because the Bible says in our opening text, that “…. the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous…” 1 Peter 3:12a
Now, what does this mean? It is simple! It means that His eyes are on you, not just only to protect you but to keep you in the path you should go. You have to believe this and refuse to allow the devil or anyone to tell you a lie. Over the years, I have met many people who say, if truly God’s eyes are on me, why did He allow such and such to happen to me? Well, the reason that happens a lot of times, is not because God is not seeing what is going on with you, but He is also waiting for you to play your role by praying.
In our opening text, the Bible is very clear on this. The Bible says “…the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers…” 1 Peter 3:12 (NKJV). Did you see that? He is not only watching you, He also wants to hear your prayers because through your prayers, He receives authorization to step in on your behalf ( Scripture reference: Matthew 18:18). So, I encourage you to always remember that God’s eyes are on you irrespective of what you are going through, but then He expects you to also pray so that He can move in your life.
Today’s Rhema
Contrary to what people or situations want you to think, God’s eyes are actually on you!
Confession for the Day
Thank you Lord, for helping me understand that you are with me. I choose this day to believe the truth and also to take my role In prayers seriously. I declare that as I do this, I am winning in all things in the name of Jesus. Amen!
