“…but if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11 (NKJV)
One of the beautiful things about the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is that He gave us the same Spirit that raised Him from the dead. I know this may sound too incredible to be true, but this remains true. Our union with Christ gave us access to the Spirit of God—the same Spirit that raised up Christ from the dead.
The joy of this truth is that if the same Spirit that raised Jesus up from the dead dwells in us, there is nothing in our lives that can be dead or remain dead. Sometimes, the devil would attempt to bring issues into our lives to start up the process of death, but the truth remains that if you walk in the consciousness of this truth which I am sharing with you right now, there is nothing in your life that can die or stay dead. This might sound too good to be true, but that is exactly what the Bible says. In our opening text, the Bible says, “…If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you…” Romans 8:11 (NKJV) Did you see that?
The Spirit of God is a life-giving Spirit, and when the Spirit of God shows up, death disappears because the Bible records that “…the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty…” 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NKJV). So, I encourage you today, as you celebrate the risen Lord, remember this truth. Know that the life-giving Spirit is already at work in you. Believe it, stay conscious of it, and declare His works in your life.
Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day
That same Spirit that raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in me. Therefore, His divine life is at work in my mortal body, business, and all that concerns me. Death is rendered powerless towards me in Jesus’ Name.
