“…but this I say; He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully…” 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV)

Do you know that giving has benefits? Are you aware that giving can actually change your life? Well, in case you do not know, am I telling you now. Giving is a principle and he who engages in it, receives the benefits of it. It is that simple. It is a principle that has principles guiding it. And the principle says, He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully…” 2 Corinthians 9:6 (NKJV). Which means, a man who sows few seeds will have a small crop, but the man who sows many seeds will have a large crop. Did you see that? It’s just simple. Your harvest is dependent on the seeds you have sown. If you want a bountiful harvest all you need to do is sow a tangible seed. This is not a man who has said this now, it is God’s word. The quality of your harvest is determined by the quality of your giving.

Now, most people don’t like to hear this but that is the truth. Am not trying to convince you here. The truth remains the truth. In the book of John 12:24, Our Lord Jesus Christ made a profound statement which I would love to bring to your notice. He said “…unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain…” Did you see that? Take note of the last part where he spoke about much grain. When you read such things from the scriptures, what comes to your mind? Again, this is not a man talking here, it is Jesus himself and He makes it clear. He said, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone, which means, until a seed is sown, it cannot reach its true potential. The same thing applies to the seeds we sow or give, until it is planted, it does not bring out its full potential. But when it is sown, it brings forth what was put in the ground.

So beloved, I want to encourage you to learn to give, and give bountifully; and you will reap bountifully according to the scriptures. But, it is important to give, not out of persuasion but out of revelation. Your harvest is tied to your seed. If you truly want a bountiful harvest, then you must make a conscious decision to learn how to give. Hallelujah!
