As you journey this year, one of the things you must consistently and committedly do is to take authority over any discomfort that you notice in any part of your body. From time to time, the devil will bring up issues in your body that could go as far as putting your life in danger but you have to make a determined decision to put the scriptures to work by taking authority over that discomfort, using the name of Jesus.
Now, when you begin to do this, you must believe in what you are doing and do it with full conviction. Because doing that actually works, especially when you do it in faith and expectation. Over the years, what I have noticed about many believers is that when they are using the name of Jesus, they just use it without expectation and when they don’t get results they get discouraged which shouldn’t be so.
Beloved, no matter the discomfort you face in your body, you must understand that the name of Jesus can get it fixed, if you will choose to take authority over it using the name of Jesus in faith and with expectation. So, I urge you to become conscious of this truth. Everytime you notice that there is a change or discomfort in your body, go ahead and use the name. At first, the discomfort may not comply, but you must believe in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ that says, “…and these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons….”Mark 16:17 (NKJV). When you stand on this scripture with confidence, it has no choice but to comply. Praise God!

Confession for the Day
Father, I am grateful for the privilege of being able to use the name of Jesus to address any discomfort in my body. I decree that as I begin to do this with a fresh understanding, I am seeing uncommon results in Jesus’ name. Amen!
