Raised Together with Christ

“…even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” Ephesians 2:5‭-‬6 (NKJV)

Another beautiful thing about the finished work of our Lord Jesus is that when God raised Him up after three days, we were also raised up together with Him. When He died, we died together with Him and when He was raised up, we were also raised up too. Through Him, we passed from death to life (1 John 3:12) we moved from that place of death to that place of life and godliness. We have moved from a place of oppression to a place of dominion and authority.

Our responsibility now is to embrace this truth and start functioning with this reality. Sometimes the devil will try to unleash all manner of attacks on you just to keep you depressed and suppressed but do not let His activities stop you because you have authority now. All you need to do I speak God’s word with boldness and your victory will not only become evident, but it shall also be established..

So, as you journey in your Christian walk, I want you to always remember that you were raised together with Him. Refuse to allow any form of intimidation from the devil. Stand your ground in all things and issue decrees of whatever you want to see in your life, and it shall become. Why? Because you are functioning from a position of authority. You were not only raised together with Him, but you are also seated together with Him now in the heavenly places. That’s why the Bible in our opening text said, God “…raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV). It is your responsibility now to act in faith, paralyze what the enemy has done and is still doing and walk in total victory. Hallelujah!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Father for raising me up together with Jesus. I decree that I am alive to you, and I function from a place of dominion and authority. And no matter what I face or go through, am I coming out victoriously because greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world. Praise God!
