“…but what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart…” Romans 10:8 (NKJV)

Having established the importance of keeping the word in your heart and in your mouth, it is important to understand that there are so many things we can benefit from the word of God, especially when the word is in our hearts and on our lips. The word of God on our lips is God speaking through our mouth, and the word of God in our heart is God dwelling in our heart. When the word dwells in your heart, the blessings are enormous. Our Lord Jesus Christ said “…if you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you…” John 15:7 (NKJV). Did you see that? That is how beneficial the word can be when you give it a place in your heart

So, make a conscious decision to give God’s word a place in your heart. His word is alive, it breathes, sings, talks and walks but not while it is still on paper. The word on paper is just a compilation, it cannot help you if it’s not lifted from the pages of the Bible into your heart. It cannot transform you if it is not confessed with your mouth. So lift it out of the book and make it effective and productive in your life. Let the living word of God become activated in every fiber of your being, and every part of you. The word will change your life if you allow it. The word will reorganize your life if you meditate on it, and release it with your mouth. So, cultivate the habit of storing up the word of God in your heart and releasing it in faith with your mouth.

You might say but how can this impact my job or my health? Well, it is simple, you just need to look for the scripture that speaks about the works of your hands or your health. When you have discovered it, store it up in your heart and begin to vocalize it in faith. Initially when you start doing this, it might not look as though anything will change but trust me, it will eventually change because it is a principle. Praise God!

Today’s Rhema

The word of God in your heart is God dwelling in your heart and His word on your lips is God talking!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Father for giving us the word for our use, thank you for speaking through our lips every time we utter your word. I declare that from today, I will study more of your word, so that it can get into my heart and by faith I will release it through my mouth for maximum results in the name of Jesus. Amen!
