For we were saved in this hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. For why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we wait for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. —Romans 8:24-25 (NKJV)

Most times, we find ourselves praying and waiting for changes to take place in our lives. However, we often get deceived into thinking that only what we see, know, or understand can actually occur. We begin to calculate in our minds that one plus one must equal two, failing to see the possibility of supernatural providence.

This is not the way God wants us to live. Instead, He wants us to believe in the supernatural and expect it to manifest in our lives at any time. What we need is usually not obvious to the natural eye. The answer to our prayers often exists within the thin line of the unseen realm.

We tend to look for and expect things to happen in a specific way, but in most cases, they do not. When this happens, we may become disappointed and start thinking we are unfortunate. Beloved, it should not be that way. When things do not go as you planned, it does not mean you are unlucky; it simply means there is another way, and God expects you to wait patiently in faith.

Understand that God wants you to take your eyes off man. He does not want you to try to predict how He will perform His miracles or which person He will use to work a wonder in your life. God is an extraordinary strategist. He does not need you to calculate or figure out how He will help you.

He knows exactly where He has placed every person who can benefit you. He knows how to fulfill His Word and promises for your life. Therefore, stay connected to God in faith and remain focused on His Word, because that is what brings the miracle you desire.

Today’s Rhema

The supernatural can become a reality in your life if you stop calculating and start believing!

Prayer

Gracious Father, I thank You for the seed of faith You have imparted into my spirit. By reason of this faith, I choose to stop calculating and start believing. I declare that by faith, I am moving mountains, breaking new frontiers, and walking in the supernatural in the name of Jesus. Amen!
