…faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. —Romans 10:17 (NKJV)

As you run the race this year, one thing you must carefully and continuously do is build your faith in the Lord. Everything you hope to achieve and possess this year can only be attained through strong faith. You must realize that a robust faith in the Father is not a product of chance but a result of deliberate actions.

It is imperative that you intentionally strengthen your trust in the Master during this season. The primary way to do this is by investing your time in the Word of God. Many people treatment this lightly because they do not understand how powerful it truly is, often failing to give it the attention it deserves.

If you truly want to overcome and subdue challenges this year, you must cultivate a passion for the Word and devote yourself to it. When the Savior was commissioning Joshua for his new assignment, He provided clear instructions for his success. He emphasized that meditation on the Word was the key to his prosperity.

The Bible records this divine counsel: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. —Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)

The Lord gave Joshua this counsel because it provided the foundation for a conquering faith. I encourage you to build your faith this year using that same divine strategy. Go for the Word deliberately and meditate on its truths. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you until you are fully persuaded. You will be amazed at how your faith will soar and deliver great results in your life. Praise God!
