“…one person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind…” Romans 14:5 (NKJV)

As a believer, one of the things you must do for yourself if you want to go far in Christ and remain in faith is to spend time nurturing your convictions. Trust me, with all the wrong information spreading all over the internet about the church and its activities, one thing you must do for yourself is to take the time to nurture your convictions in the faith. Yes! You heard me right. Your convictions in the faith are nobody’s responsibility but yours and yours alone. You may never have heard this but what I am sharing with you now, is the truth. If you don’t nurture your conviction, you could dance to the tune of other people’s conviction and this could lead you away from the truth in God’s word. One of the major fights the devil is fighting today is to pollute the truth and make people go away from the truth. He is coming up with all manner of information just to discredit kingdom practices that have existed since Bible days and over the years, he has succeeded in getting to so many believers.

Many today no longer believe in Churches or believe in pastors. Many have abandoned the faith and stopped going to church all because of the garbage they have heard online that was not credible. However, if you do not want to fall for this wicked agenda of the devil, I encourage you to make your story different by nurturing your convictions in the faith. And the best way to do this is to study God’s word often. Because when you do, you will be exposed to the truth which is the heart of God and the Holy Spirit will guide you from the inside out. There is so much the Holy Spirit wants to teach you about God and His kingdom that cannot be taught to you unless you give yourself to diligent studies of the word of God. So be disciplined enough to take your Bible and study it from time to time. Do not be so busy that you hardly read the Bible. If you hear any information that contradicts what you already know, don’t jump at it but ponder on it and study further, so that the Holy Spirit can open your mind to the truth and show you the path you should follow. Don’t depend on anyone to convince you, rather let the Holy Spirit convince you. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Your conviction in the faith is nobody’s responsibility but yours, therefore take the time to nurture it!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this wonderful truth you have communicated to me today. I receive the discipline to continually go back to the scripture for the truth and as I do this, I function by the truth and will never be caught up in the lie of the devil in Jesus name. Amen!
