Do you know that praying in tongues can improve your life as a believer? Well, in case you do not know, I am telling you now. Speaking or praying in tongues can literally change your life if you are dedicated to it. Sadly, most people don’t see it that way, but guess what, speaking in tongues has the ability to improve every area of your life and set you among princes. The Bible says, “…he who speaks in a (strange) tongue edifies and improves himself…” 1 Corinthians 14:4 (AMPC). This lets us know that when you speak in tongues, you are not only fixing things in the realm of the Spirit, but physically as well. Your marriage, finances, job, business etc. all get influenced, when you speak in tongues. So, it is important that you make speaking in tongues a regular thing in your life. It shouldn’t be something that you do only on special occasions. It has to be a habit.
Some people think that speaking in tongues happens only when you are overwhelmed by the Spirit of God and cannot be done by oneself as a matter of conscious choice. But that is a lie that the devil has used to keep people away from tapping into this wonderful gift. It is important to know that when you received Jesus into your life as your Lord and savior, you received the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) who came to live in you in full measure. He came into your life bringing to you all His abilities including the ability to speak in tongues. He has granted you utterance and all you need to do is speak. You don’t have to wait to be inspired afresh because you were already inspired when He first came into your life. Now when you speak in tongues, it happens as a result of His influence. So, I encourage you to speak in tongues today like you have never done before. Create time for it and try to do it deliberately for longer hours if you want it to have a great impact in your life. Praise God!

Thank you Heavenly Father for your grace and love, I thank you for giving me the ability to speak in tongues, I declare that it will not depart my lips. And as I speak in tongues, visible impact will be recorded in every area of my life in the Name of Jesus. Amen!
