“…Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego answered and said, your Majesty, we will not try to defend ourselves. If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty may be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up…” Daniel 3:16-18 (GNT).

As you journey with God, one thing you must learn to do beyond speaking positive words is to speak with boldness and confidence. I discovered that one thing is to speak positive words but another thing is to speak those words with boldness and confidence. You may think it does not matter but it does. It is not enough to say positive things about your life and future. The real question is, are you speaking those positive words with boldness and from a place of confidence? Think about it. The last time you said your future is bright, was it with confidence or uncertainty? The last time you said, Health is yours, was it with confidence in the provisions of God’s word, or was it just something you were trying to convince yourself about? You see, as simple as these questions may sound, they hold the keys to what you actually need at this time.

Beloved, if you truly want to see God’s word become flesh in your life, you must learn to speak with boldness and confidence in God’s word. Many people today are just declaring words but these words are not making any impact in their lives because the words they are speaking lack boldness and confidence. However, you must learn from the three Hebrew brothers, who spoke with boldness and confidence in the face of a life-threatening case. They said, “…your Majesty, we will not try to defend ourselves. If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty may be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up…” Daniel 3:16-18 (GNT). Now, that is not just boldness but confidence as well. Did God save them? Of course, He had to because His reputation was on the line. You too can be bold and confident like this, and you will command results like never before. Praise God!

Confession for the Day

Thank you, Father, for educating me with what I needed to know concerning words. I choose this day, to not just speak with boldness but confidence as well. And as I do this, I am bearing fruit in all areas of my life, in Jesus name. Amen!
