Sickness Has Been Carried Away by Jesus (1)

“…surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed…” Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV)

Beloved, are you aware that as a believer in our Lord Jesus Christ, you cannot be sick and remain there? Do you know that when Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price on the cross of Calvary, He took away every sickness that could afflict you both today, tomorrow and till eternity? Well, in case you don’t know, I am telling you now. The Bible recorded that He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed…” Isaiah 53:4-5 (NKJV). From this, you discover that Jesus dealt with the issue of sickness when He dealt with the issue of sin. 

Sickness has its root from death which comes from sin (Romans 6:23). But when Jesus Christ offered Himself as a sin offering, sin was dealt with once and for all time and so is sickness and all its forms. That’s why the Bible says, “…if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit (gives) it life because of righteousness…” Romans 8:10 (NKJV paraphrased). As it stands sickness can no longer thrive in your body legally and remain there because the root (sin + death) from where it comes has been removed. Now you have the life of God in you which produces righteousness in you. This life is an incorruptible life which cannot deteriorate or be destroyed. Because it is the very life of God the Father. This life cannot be destroyed or afflicted by sickness and this life is at work in you by the Holy Ghost that dwells in you. Now, with this life at work in you, you are not permitted to fall sick and remain there because a disease killing life is at work in you. Hallelujah!

Sickness can no longer thrive in your body legally and remain there because the root (sin + death) from where it comes has been removed!

Confession for the Day 

Father, am grateful for enlightening me with the truth about sickness. I therefore decree that by the provisions of the finished work of Jesus Christ, I am healed of any kind of affliction and I will stay healthy now and all the days of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
