“….the ransom for a man’s life is his wealth…”

Proverbs 13:8 (AMP)

Lately when the issue of money is being spoken about in church, most people don’t get excited because they somehow feel that someone is interested in their money. Unknown to them that the best advice any one can ever give to you is an advice on how to be a better giver. It might not seem interesting or palatable but this is something that everyone needs because there is a connection between the money you give out for God’s work and charity purposes and your well-being. It is a mystery that no one has been able to fully understand but I think this is a principle that always answers when it is engaged. The Bible clearly states that “….the ransom for a man’s life is his wealth…” Proverbs 13:8 (AMP). Meaning, with your wealth, your life can be saved a number of times but you must learn to give and not hoard money. The life we live runs with principles and until these principles are engaged, you don’t see the results that they are meant to generate, therefore, be open to giving and don’t let the devil trick you into thinking that giving and sowing of seeds is a bad idea. Don’t be among those who only love to receive, but don’t like to give.

You have to understand that all through the scriptures there is no promise or blessing for the one who receives. The only promises that are found in the scripture, are for those who are doing the giving. Our Lord Jesus Christ in Luke 6:38 (NLT) said, “…give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you…” In Acts 20:35, Paul the Apostle, said “…remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “it is more blessed to give than to receive…” We could go on and on with lots of other examples, but in all, you need to understand that it is always a blessing to give. When you give, you secure a pathway for financial blessings, promotion, speedy healing and lots more. Therefore, consider giving your best today and watch God shower you with His blessings in one way or the other. The man who gives always stays on top, no matter how many forces try to pull him down. So start giving today and secure your entire life. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

The man who gives always remains on top no matter the oppositions and forces against him!

CONFESSION FOR TODAY

My wealth is a ransom for my life, therefore I refuse to hold back but give It for the spread of the Gospel and empowering those who are less privileged I declare that as I give today, I am reaping a hundred percent harvest from my seeds sown in the name of Jesus. Amen!
