“…take words with you…” Hosea 14:2 (NKJV)
Having established the importance of securing the right scriptures to address your situation, we will now examine a case study to help us better understand the reality of what we are trying to communicate. Sometimes, when we talk about these things, some people do not believe you can actually get a scripture to address your situation and overcome. The challenge today is that too many of God’s people find it hard to believe the word of God because of how simple it appears sometimes. But it is a grievous mistake doubt the Word because of its simplicity. Those who choose to believe the word of God and use it to enforce their rights in Christ always win.
Some time ago, I read about a woman who couldn’t have a child for so many years. All she did to get one proved abortive. One night, she had a revelation where an angel appeared to her and told her that she would have a child soon. True to the words of the angel, she got pregnant after that visitation but sadly, she had a miscarriage. Then she made up her mind to go back to the scriptures, search out all the promises of God concerning the fruit of the womb, and arm herself with these scriptures. She would use them in prayers and confess them every morning. Finally, she got pregnant again and ended up having her first baby successfully. The visitation helped her to realize that it was God’s desire for her to have a child, and this propelled her to search the scriptures.
Today, you might not necessarily have a visitation from an angel to let you know God’s desire for you concerning that situation, but this article is coming to you as a reminder. Whatever you are going through today, it is God’s desire for you to triumph and come out of that situation with a testimony. So, refuse to allow the devil to keep you down with the wrong thoughts, instead rise up and face the situation with God’s promises. Search the scriptures and pull out those promises. Let them become your reality and in the long run, you will emerge victorious. Remember, God is not responsible for your challenges, the Bible says, “…every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning…” James 1:17 (NKJV)
Today’s Rhema
For every situation, there is a scripture counter to it, so get one today and contend for what belongs to you!
Confession for the Day
All powerful and Ever-living Father, I thank you for your plans and thoughts towards me, I thank you because they are thoughts of good and not of evil, therefore, I lay hold of your promises for my life and I am using it to form my world In the name of Jesus. Amen!
