“….And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak….” II Corinthians 4:13 (NKJV)
One of the things that changes your life as a Christian is when you discover what God has said concerning you, and you believe it and begin to say those things concerning yourself. It can literally change everything about you but the challenge today is that too many of God’s people do not have the time to say the things God has said about them. In Fact many are not even aware of what God has said concerning them. Instead, all they care about are what men have said about them which ought not to be so.
If all you do is talk about the things men say about you, you will most likely be an unhappy person in life because truly men have nothing good to say about you. And guess what, whatever they have to say, will not change your life, it will only bring you pain and sadness. Therefore, it is important that you go all out for what God has said concerning you and personalize it. Why? You might ask. Well, it is simple. When you take God’s word seriously and begin to say the same thing concerning yourself, you will begin to see the things God has said manifest in your life because God’s word has creative abilities and when you repeat what He has said, you put that creative ability to work.
So, I encourage you today to take what God has said concerning you seriously and reiterate it. Repetition, they say, is the law of deep and lasting impression. The more you declare the same thing God has said concerning your health, your job, your family and the likes of it, you will see God’s power move in your life and bring to pass the things He has said about you. Papa Abraham believed what God said about him, he moved in that direction, and the Bible says it was counted unto him for righteousness (Galatians 3:6) and true to God’s word, Papa Abraham, became the father of many. Beloved, I dare you to say what God has said about you and I guarantee your life will not be the same again. Halleluiah!
