God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? — Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)
Beloved, one thing you must intentionally guard against in your life is doubt. Why? Because doubt is a seed that, if allowed to grow, can hinder your progress as a believer. The failure of any person begins when they permit doubt to take root in their mind.
The mind is like fertile soil—whatever you plant in it will grow. Just like faith, doubt is a seed, and if you allow it to be sown in your heart, it will produce fruits of unbelief, fear, and impatience. As sons and daughters of God, we must understand that doubt is the enemy of productivity, progress, and promotion.
Anyone who carries doubt in their heart concerning their plans and dreams will find it difficult to move forward because doubt multiplies and weakens resolve. That’s why it’s important to walk with God in full confidence, knowing that if He has spoken it, He will bring it to pass. No matter how difficult or impossible a situation may seem, if the Lord has declared it, it will surely be made manifest.
We must come to a place where we trust completely in God’s power to save in every matter. Even in the hardest times, we must choose to trust rather than doubt. His ability is unlimited, and we must not waver in believing that He will do what He has promised. Hold firmly to your faith, knowing that in the end, you will rejoice!
