“…for I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord…” Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)
Now that we have established in the first part of this article that God loves you unconditionally, you have a responsibility to believe with all your heart and run with it. I know that sometimes, the challenges we face make us come to a point where we are tempted to doubt the love of God but no matter what you face or go through, refuse to allow that to become your reality. God loves unconditionally irrespective of your challenges. So begin today to live in the consciousness of the father’s love. And pray every day for God to reveal to you the extent of His love for you so that you can wholeheartedly rest on this love.
It was something like this, Paul the Apostle was trying to do for the church in Ephesus, when he prayed that they will “…comprehend with all saints what is the width and length and depth and height- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge…”Ephesians 3:18 (NKJV). When you are conscious of God’s love for you, fear will disappear, insecurity will disappear and hope will be rekindled. So whatever situation you have found yourself in today, just remember that God loves you and He is working behind the scenes to deliver you from that trouble. His love for you is like protection, provision and lots more. You can count on it and it will not fail. Just think about the way you love your parents or your kids. You love them so much that you are always willing to come to their defense or help them when they face certain issues. Now, if you as a man could love that much, what about God who created you and put that ability to love in you? Don’t you think, He would love more? So my beloved, rest in His love today and be conscious of it every day of your life. Let it be your defense and your strength in times of weakness. Praise God!
