“…but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint…” —Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

I have often had people ask, “How do you manage all the responsibilities and remain strong? “How do you do it without getting burned out?” I’ve discovered that it has always been through the strength of the Lord, because by human strength, it would be impossible. Many of God’s people rely on their strengths and capabilities, thinking that that is what they need to achieve their goals and targets. Unknown to them that the scriptures cannot be broken. The Bible already says that “…by strength shall no man prevail…” 1 Samuel 2:9 (NKJV), meaning that to prevail in this world or in any given endeavor, you can’t do it by your own strength but by the strength of God. Unfortunately,  too many people ignore this truth a lot and end up getting depressed and feeling rejected in life, not knowing that they are the ones at fault.

Beloved, if you are ever planning to succeed in life and not be burned out, if you ever want to be fruitful, you must make a conscious decision to do it God’s way. That’s the key to strength and fruitfulness. God said something to Zerubbabel in the Bible that caught my attention. God said, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit” Zachariah 4:6. From this, we see where our focus ought to be at all times. So you need to make a decision to do it God’s way, and to do that, you should engage in activities that give the spirit of God expression in your life. Why? You might ask. Well, the reason is that when the Spirit of God is able to gain expression in your life, all the hindrances and stumbling blocks will be taken out of your path, and all the things that are supposed to produce results in your life will begin to produce results. Therefore, make a conscious decision today to run the race of life in the strength of the Spirit and not your human strength.

Human strength is limited; therefore, don’t depend on it!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for this insightful reality that you have communicated to me, I decree this day that the grace to run with the strength of the Holy Spirit is released in me, and as I run with the strength of the Holy Spirit, I am fruitful in all areas of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
