“….remember this, my dear friends! Everyone must be quick to listen, but slow to speak and slow to become angry…” James 1:19 (GNT)

Something very prevalent amongst many people today is that when they ask others for help and they don’t get it, they get offended at the people who could not help them. In most cases, they develop an attitude against them. The question is, is this how it is supposed to be? Is it right to be offended at those who could not assist you? The answer is of course No. The reason you shouldn’t be offended when people are unable to help you is because everyone has their own challenges. So when you ask for help and people are unable to assist you, try to understand them instead of getting offended. It is a childish and selfish  thing to do.

Sometimes, people are unable to render help at a particular time, not because they don’t want to, but because of their own challenges. Instead of getting offended, go to God in prayers. This is the right thing to do, because the Bible already lets us know that “…by strength no man shall prevail…” ( 1 Samuel 2:9).

So, I admonish you today, if at any time you ask for any form of assistance from anyone and they could not help you, don’t be offended, instead go to God in prayer. Remember the Bible says, “…cast your burden on the Lord, And He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved…” Psalms 55:22 (NKJV)

Today’s Rhema

When you ask for any kind of assistance from anyone and they could not help you, don’t be offended, instead go to God in prayer!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Father, for the light that you have brought to my understanding. I refuse to be offended at anyone for not helping me, rather, I choose to run to you whenever I am in need because I know you love me and you care for me. Hallelujah!
