How deeply do you desire to achieve your dream? How strongly do you want to see it become a reality? Your dream is absolutely possible, but it requires strict discipline and focus. Focus is the key to achieving all your goals, and achieving them efficiently.
The challenge today is that many of God’s people lack the focus needed to pursue their dreams. They are easily distracted by the difficulties they encounter along the way. Discouragement can be so strong that they abandon their dreams altogether. This is why so many genuine dreams remain unfulfilled – people simply don’t have the courage to persevere and turn their dreams into reality.
However, if you can stay focused despite the challenges, you will surely be victorious. The first step is making a conscious decision to stay focused, no matter the obstacles. It’s important to understand that you have an adversary – the devil, your number one adversary – that seeks to frustrate you and prevent your success. This adversary will throw distractions your way to break your focus. This is where many people lose sight of their dreams. They become discouraged and believe their dreams are impossible, ultimately giving up.
But today, I encourage you not to give in to these deceptions of the devil. Don’t fulfill the devil’s will by giving up. Instead, resist its advances. The more it tries to make you quit, the more determined you should become to achieve your dream. Remember the Apostle Paul’s words in Philippians 3:14 (NKJV): “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul knew his goal and set his heart on achieving it. Do the same! Set your heart on your dream and press on towards it. No matter what challenges you face, refuse to be discouraged. Let the fulfillment of your dream be your driving force. Praise God!
