PUT WISDOM TO WORK AND BUILD YOUR LIFE                                                                

“…for wisdom is a defense as money is a defense, but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those who have it…”  Ecclesiastes 7:12 (NKJV)

When we look around us, we see the power that money possesses. With money you can settle matters that may have otherwise killed you, with money you can take yourself to greater heights. You can use money to make friends and have new connections. With money you can dine with Kings and go to places meant for only the high and mighty. It would amplify your voice in the society and make people hear you, that’s how powerful money is. With it, you can do a lot, that’s why our opening text says that money is a defense. But beyond money, wisdom also is a defense that should not be neglected. If you can use money to settle matters and prevent suffering and use it to position yourself amongst the high and mighty of the society, you can use wisdom too and this will cost you nothing. If you can use money to make friends then wisdom can get you that too. If you can use money to get connections and dine with princes, wisdom can get it also. It’s only with wisdom that you will keep and spend the money in your hand. Without wisdom, money cannot stay in your hands. 

So wisdom masters money that is why King Solomon made it very clear that the Excellency of wisdom gives life. And only those who have wisdom, receive the life that wisdom gives. Now, the Excellency of wisdom here means, perfect wisdom with understanding of how to use it. It is with wisdom you build a home, city or nation. This is why we find some homes are more peaceful than the other, and some cities are more powerful than the other, and some nations richer than the others because of the application of wisdom. Today, people are trooping from Syria, Liberia, and Nigeria, into Australia, Canada, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom Etc. Why? Because the nations they have come from have not applied wisdom to bring about prosperity, neither have they applied wisdom to bring about stability. So the people suffer because they have not applied wisdom. Therefore, it is important that you start applying wisdom in all that you do. Just the same way money can do so much for you, wisdom can do much more for you. So I encourage you today, to hold firmly to the wisdom of God and use it to build the future that you desire. Praise God!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

I profess today that I am fully loaded to the maximum capacity of all the wisdom and knowledge that I need to live the victorious life that you want me to live. I declare that my mind is opened to receive your words of wisdom just like you always gave to King Solomon and made none compared to him. I thank you father because your wisdom is at work in me in Jesus name. Amen!
