“…conduct yourselves like men and fight…” 1 Samuel 4:9 (NKJV)
Having established some very important reasons why you need to pull yourself together and fight in the first article, you must understand that life will not give you what you deserve but what you demand. Yes, you heard me right. One of the mistakes that many people make today is that they believe that life will give them what they deserve, so they keep waiting and hoping that someday something will just happen. But guess what? It never happens that way because there are far too many forces that are working tirelessly to make sure that you do not get what you deserve. Did you see that? Daniel was a very good example of how what we deserve can be delayed. From that day on, he decided to seek the face of God and pray. God heard him and sent an angel to him, but the angel never got to him. His answer was not in heaven and it was not with him. The answer he was looking for was trapped and what saved the day was that he kept on praying and making demands (Scripture Reference : Daniel 10:1-21)
Beloved, until and unless you make demands, you will not get delivery of the things you truly desire in life. “Therefore, take up the the whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand…” Ephesians 6:13) Go back to God’s word, search out scriptures concerning that situation and arm yourself with it. Draw a warfare plan, set a time limit, enroll yourself in a spiritual program and be disciplined about it. Fight and fight well, using the principles of God’s word. If you will do this, you will speak like Apostle Paul at the later part of his ministry, who said, “I fought a good fight, I have finished the race and I have kept the faith…” 2 Timothy 4:7. You might say but must one fight to make it in life? Yes, you have to if you don’t want to be buried in sorrow and most importantly, if you still want to remain in the faith, then you have to fight; otherwise, you will fall out of faith and blame God for the battles you were supposed to fight. So get ready and do something about your life; your progress will not happen by crying but by your willingness to fight.
Today’s Rhema
Fight for your rights and stop crying.
Confession for the Day
Heavenly father, I thank you for inspiring me with your Word. I am charged up like a lion, ready to go after its prey. I declare that this day, I refuse to be the hunted but the hunter. I go all out in faith and in the name of Jesus to subdue and reclaim all that rightfully belongs to me in the name of Jesus. Amen!
