“…let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need…” Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV)

The quality of life you will live in this world is completely dependent on the principles that you put to work. A quality life is a product of mercy and grace; and one of the ways you can secure these in your life is through prayer. Sadly, over the years I have seen lots of God’s people play light on the subject of prayer. In fact, the prayer meetings in church are usually the smallest, because people don’t understand the role of prayers in their lives. So, they treat it casually and ignore it. They hardly spend time praying at home, but they spend time doing all other things except praying. No wonder there are a lot of struggles in the lives of most people today because they don’t understand the purpose and importance of prayers. However, that has to change today.

Beloved, you’ve got to understand that prayer plays a major role in the quality of your life. If you do not want to live a life of penury and struggle, you must make a conscious decision to make prayer a priority in your life, no matter how busy you are. A man who does not pray, forsakes his own mercy and thus, never finds grace to use in time of need. Therefore, choose this day to give prayer a very important place in your life. When the Bible said in our opening scripture to therefore come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need…” Hebrews 4:16 (NKJV), it wasn’t joking. It is a present hour reality.

So I admonish you today to cultivate the habit of ceaseless, effectual fervent prayers. Because it holds the key to your success, rising and progress in life. Don’t say you are too busy, because when the storms of life hit, you won’t even have the time to attend to your daily activities. You will be too busy trying to fix the havoc. So, to avoid this, do the needful today, and don’t wait till the storms of life hit before you know the right thing to do. Pray now while you can, and keep the storms of life at bay. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

Thank you Heavenly Father for creating an avenue for me to obtain mercy and find grace. I declare that I will always be at your throne of grace to obtain mercy when necessary. And no matter how long it tarries, I will be patient because I know that when patience has had its full course, I will receive grace in abundance for the race ahead in Jesus’ name. Amen!
