“…do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people….” Ephesians 6:18 (GNT)

If there is one thing you must not stop doing, it is praying, and the reason is that through prayers, you are able to defeat the attacks of the devil and establish your victory in life. But unfortunately, the devil has made lots of God’s people stop praying. The devil discourages them and makes them too lazy to pray and when he has managed to bring them to this point, he starts destroying things in their lives. He starts scattering things one by one in their lives and the next thing that some of these people do is to conclude that prayer does not work. But, you see, I am living proof that prayer works.

Over the years, I have found myself in several issues, and what has helped me come out of it is continuous prayer. Take note of what I said now, “continuous prayer”. Beloved, if you truly want to see results in prayer, you must not stop. You must learn to pray and continue to pray until you see results and even after you have seen results, you are not expected to stop praying because what you get from prayers must be preserved by prayers.

So I admonish you today to continue in prayer and refuse to allow anything to make you stop. And do not let the devil make you feel that your prayers are not effective, because anytime you start feeling that way, it means your prayers are actually producing massive results and the devil wants you to stop. So, take this counsel seriously and keep pressing on in the place of prayer. In Romans 12:10-12, the Bible says, “…‭‭be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer…” Did you see that? So continue in prayer, no matter what.

Today’s Rhema

If you want to truly win in any area of your life, you must not stop praying!

Confession for the Day

My eyes are opened and my mind has been enlightened; therefore, I will never give up in prayer. I will continue to pray until something happens and even after something happens, I will not stop praying in Jesus name
