Tongue on fire

“For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.” —1 Corinthians 14:2 (NKJV)

Most times when people are asked to pray in church, they pray in English or in their native language. That isn’t necessarily wrong, but praying this way has limitations that many don’t realize. Beloved, if you truly want to transform your prayer life and see deeper results, you must learn to pray more in tongues—beyond the language of your understanding.

Why? Because known language is limited. Praying in a familiar language engages your mind—a part of the soul tied to the physical realm and its constraints. But the spirit, in union with God’s Spirit, transcends these limits. When you pray in tongues, your spirit prays, and connects with the mind of God—bringing deep mysteries and breakthroughs into manifestation.

I’m not saying you should stop praying in your known language. Rather, pray more in tongues, because in doing so, you make deep contact with the spirit realm. You can address issues rooted in the unseen. No matter how complex your situation, praying in tongues—persistently and sincerely—can overturn circumstances and solve mysteries.

So, what are you waiting for? Pray more in tongues today and watch how God turns things around. Praise God!

Confession for the Day

Father, thank You for this eye-opening truth. I choose today to pray more in tongues, and as I do, I declare I am breaking through every limitation and resistance, producing the right results—in Jesus’ name. Amen!
