Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. — Luke 18:1 (NKJV)

Over the years, I’ve discovered that many believers don’t pray every day. You can often count on one hand how many times they pray in a single week. When asked, they usually say they’re unable to pray daily because of their busy schedules. No matter what you say to encourage them, they simply don’t listen.

However, when trouble hits, they immediately look for help and start praying desperate “fire brigade” prayers. Unfortunately, these last-minute prayers won’t do much. The prayer that saves you today is the one you offered yesterday. Sadly, many lack this mindset, preferring to pray only when they feel like it. That kind of inconsistent attitude will never produce the expected results.

Beloved, if you don’t want to be a victim of the darkness and wickedness in this world, you must learn to pray every day. If you want God’s promises to fully manifest in your life, daily prayer is essential. I know you’re busy, but you must carve out time for prayer within your schedule. Your life, career, marriage, and everything about you depend on it.

Jesus said something remarkable regarding this:

…men always ought to pray and not lose heart. — Luke 18:1 (NKJV)

Prayer is something we must do continually if we truly want to stay in God’s will and frustrate the expectations of the wicked.

Therefore, I encourage you today to pray every day. Start with one hour daily, and gradually increase it until you’re praying for an hour three times a day. If you do this, your relationship with God will strengthen, and you will walk in the fullness of His Spirit. You will no longer be easy prey for the devil. So, what are you waiting for? Start today. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I receive the grace to pray every day. As I do this, I am walking in alignment with God’s will, plans, and purposes in Jesus’ name. Amen!
