As you journey in your Christian walk, one thing you must pay attention to are the things you see in your dream when you go to bed. Why you might ask? Well, the reason is because that is one major way through which God warns or instructs us. Sadly, many people have been warned and instructed in many different ways but because they weren’t paying attention, they missed out on what God was trying to communicate to them. I remember reading an article recently of a woman who was standing by the grave of her husband and she said she already saw this in her revelation but she didn’t know what God was trying to communicate to her, so she shrugged it off until it finally happened before her eyes.
Beloved, if you want to stay current with what God or even the enemy is doing in your life, you must pay attention to your dreams or revelations. I know that it is not all dreams that come from God, but here is what the Bible says, “…In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man…”Job 33:15 -17 (NKJV). Meaning, God gives men dreams to bring us warnings and give us instructions. So, from time to time, it is important that you pay attention to the dreams that come to you and when it comes, weigh it on the scale of God’s word, so that you are able to discern if it is of God or not. You might say is that necessary? Oh yes, it is important because through the scriptures, the Holy Spirit is able to bear witness with your spirit and let you know, if the dream is from God or not. So, as you journey this year, I urge you to take this counsel seriously because when you are paying attention to your dream, it will help you walk in the path God wants you to walk in and also, it will help you dismantle the works of darkness against your life.
