“….Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction. In order to turn man from his deed, And conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the Pit, And his life from perishing by the sword….”Job 33:16-18 (NKJV)
As you journey in your Christian walk, one of the things you must give attention to, are the instructions you receive from God. These instructions will go a long way to melt you, mold you and make you. They will guide you and position you in the very will of God. So you must make it a point of duty to give attention to these instructions because your life depends on it.
Sadly, many of God’s people do not give attention to instructions. Some don’t even look out for it because they don’t think it is important and this negligence has brought them many troubles in life which ought not be so. However, if you are going to avoid making king sized mistakes in life or taking actions that will jeopardize your life, you must learn to start giving serious attention to the instructions of God.
When our Lord Jesus Christ was born, His birth threatened Herod at that time and Herod decided to kill him but his plan could not come to fruition because God was one step ahead of him. God gave Joseph an instruction to take Jesus to Egypt. The Bible says “….an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, “Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him…”Matthew 2:13 (NKJV). When Joseph followed that instruction, the life of our Lord Jesus Christ was preserved.
Beloved, if you want your life to be preserved in these last days and you want to walk in the will of God every day of your life, you must pay attention to the instructions of God coming to you, so that you can follow them. If you haven’t received instructions in a while, its proof that you have become busy on the inside, you have to spend some days waiting on God in prayers and fasting and when you do that, the instructions for your next level will be granted to you. So take God’s instructions seriously because your life depends solely on it. Praise God!

My Father and My Maker, I am grateful for your word today which has come to give me understanding. I choose this day to give attention to instructions and to carry them out and as I do this, I am making tremendous progress in all areas of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
