“…And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us….” —Acts 16:9 (NKJV)
In our opening text, we see how the Apostle Paul received his instruction to go to Macedonia. The Bible records that in a vision, God showed Paul a certain man, calling out to him to come to Macedonia and help them. And Paul immediately received his direction and knew where God wanted him to go. The good thing was that Paul was also accustomed to God’s voice and he was able to recognize that it was God asking him to go to Macedonia. Act 16:10, “Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.” And this was how the gospel was taken to Macedonia and we see records in the Bible of how the Macedonian church was so helpful to the ministry of Apostle Paul.
If he had not gone, we would have heard nothing of Macedonia, but he went, and that was because he received his directions through visions that God showed him. The question is, what are those instructions that God has been giving you? Maybe it’s concerning your calling, your relationship with God or even your business. Maybe it’s about the people around you or how God wants you to impact the lives of others around you. If you do not pay attention to the visions God is showing you, He will never be able to direct you, and you will always find yourself at that point where you actually don’t know what to do. So in conclusion, I admonish that, to receive directions and instructions from God for the next level, your eyes and ears must be open. Your attention must be on what God is saying and as you pay attention, God will gladly give you instructions that will change your life for the better. Praise God!

Holy Father! Great is your Holy name in all the earth. Thank you for creating visions, which are mental pictures that help us see what you are saying to us. Thank you for giving me a unique ability—not just to see visions, but to recognize the instructions in the visions and to act on them. I declare that as I receive these communications and act on them, I am walking in your perfect will, in Jesus name. Amen!
