And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. —Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)

As you journey in your Christian walk, you must understand that some things in life only answer to spiritual violence. Only those who are aggressive in their approach to life can truly possess their possessions. You may wonder if one can achieve their goals with a softer approach, but the reality is that life does not give you what you deserve; it gives you what you demand. Until you place a firm demand for what belongs to you, you will not see it manifest.

You must be proactive and radical in reaching for the things you want to achieve. Refuse to be passive about your progress because the Devil will stop at nothing to ensure you are deprived of what rightfully belongs to you. He does not want you to succeed or move forward. His agenda is to frustrate the people of God, but your responsibility is to ensure you do not give him that chance in your life.

It is your responsibility to stand up for what belongs to you and lay hold of it without looking back. Do not simply sit back and say you are waiting for God to do something. You must remember that the Father is also waiting for you to act. He desires to work with you and through you. Fashion your mind according to this pattern and aggressively pursue the dreams He has placed in your heart.

In the process of taking possession, you might encounter delays, disappointments, and hurdles. In all these things, refuse to be discouraged or to give up. Instead, hold your ground and keep acting out your faith. Set your gaze on the Lord and let Him be the source of your strength and zeal. Refuse to think thoughts of defeat and do not change your confession.

Maintain an unflinching commitment to the Word of God and stand strong against every spiritual opposition. When you hold your ground in this manner, it is impossible for you to be defeated. You will be the one to emerge victoriously. Take what belongs to you by force and stop waiting for it to come to you on a platter of gold. Hallelujah!

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. —Ephesians 6:11-12 (NKJV)

Today’s Rhema

God needs you to act so that He can work for you!

Confession for the day

I release my faith today, and I lay hold of that which belongs to me. I enforce the will of God for my life, and I refuse to cower in the face of adversity or to lose hope, because I know that lines are falling unto me in pleasant places in the name of Jesus. Amen!
