“…obey my laws and do what I command. I am the Lord your God. Follow the practices and the laws that I give you; you will save your life by doing so. I am the Lord…”Leviticus 18:5 (GNT)

Sometimes, a major contemplation in the heart of many believers is, “..I have been a Christian for many years, but my life is not showing the proof of it. What is going on, does the word of God really work? This whole Christian thing, is it really the right path?” These and many more, you will find in the contemplation of many believers but the question remains, are they really walking in obedience? Are they actually taking the demands of God seriously?

Beloved, if you are ever going to see the things God promised us in His word in your life, you must learn to be a believer who actually believes God’s word and put the word to work. You must be a believer who obeys the counsel of God. Many today have no time to prioritize the word of God. They hardly follow the recommendations and directives of God’s word, therefore, the results they are looking for doesn’t show up because, through their disobedience or attitude towards God’s word and instructions, they are not able to align properly with the plans of God.

However, if you truly want to align with the will, purpose, and plan of God for your life, if you want to see the results that the word of God talks about, don’t do your own thing and follow your own opinion. Instead, follow the directives and instructions of God, this will align you in ways that you can never imagine. And guess what? Obedience will cost you less than disobedience will. So, do the needful today and align with God’s plan for your marriage, finances, career, and family. Praise God!

TODAY’S RHEMA

If you truly want to align with the plan and purpose of God, walk in obedience!

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY

Father, I am grateful for this timely word, I decree that the grace to remain obedient is at work in my life and as I walk in obedience, I am aligned with your will and purpose for my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
