“…For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh…” – Philippians 3:3 (NKJV)
If there is one thing that the enemy wants to achieve in your life, it is to take your joy away. He will stir up situations to tamper with your joy. He will bring matters that will push you to depression and possibly make you lose your faith in Christ. But refuse to allow such things to get to you, instead, rejoice in the midst of the chaos. I know it’s not easy to switch from sadness to happiness, but you have to deliberately do that. The reason is because your joy in the midst of challenges, is a major blow to the devil.
If the enemy does not want to see you happy, you must see to it that you do not give to him what he wants. When you are joyous and rejoicing even in the midst of challenges, you disarm the devil and what he is doing. So, it is important that you understand this technology of the spirit that helps you to always win. You must understand that joy is a weapon and whenever you are joyous, you are putting the devil where he belongs. No wonder, the Bible says, “…My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing…” James 1:2-4 (NKJV)
So, beloved, “…rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say, rejoice…” Philippians 4:4 (NKJV). Refuse to allow any situation tamper with your joy. You might ask, “How will rejoicing fix my present situation?” Well, maintaining your joy is not all you do, you are supposed to present that matter before God and that’s why the Bible says to us, “…be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus….” Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV). So, take these steps and watch God move you out of that matter in victory. Hallelujah!

Joy is a weapon. Each time you use it, you weaken the enemy!
Confession for the Day
No matter the odds, I refuse to give in to the tricks of the enemy. I choose to maintain my joy in the face of adversity and to keep pressing on in the place of prayer. I choose to take my eyes off what the devil is doing and keep my focus on what Jesus is doing and as I do this, my victory is assured in the name of Jesus. Amen!
