“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

Sometimes in life, the devil brings all manner of discouragement to make you believe that you are a liability. He does everything to give you a wrong picture of yourself and make you believe you have nothing. But you must learn to shrug his thoughts off and lay hold of God’s thoughts toward you. No matter what you face or go through, God believes in you and wants the best for you. That’s why He said, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV). Did you see that? If God didn’t believe in you, there is no way He would want to strengthen or help you. So, I encourage you to take this truth seriously and know that God believes in you. The people around you might believe otherwise, your family members might also believe otherwise, but you stay focused on God’s word concerning you.

Now, the question is, why is this important? It is simple. When you know that God believes in you, it boosts your confidence in yourself and in your life generally. It enhances your perspective about your life and helps you put in the required effort to bring the best out of you. Many in the past have become depressed and even went as far as committing suicide because, all their lives, they thought nobody believed in them. They felt they were all alone, so the zeal to keep pressing on depleted in them. However, your own case should be different. Keep your focus on God’s view of you. That is what counts, and no matter the odds, refuse to accept other people’s negative view of you. Because really, their views do not count. God loves you, He believes in you, and He wants the best for you. It was for this reason that He sent Jesus Christ to come take your place and pay the ultimate price. If He could do that as a demonstration of His love for you, then rest assured that your future is settled and secured. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Confession for the Day

Glorious God, I thank You for Your love; I thank You for believing in me. I decree today that my faith will continually rest on Your love for me, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, everything I set my heart to do prospers because Your love for me establishes me, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
