“…We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death…” I John 3:14 (NKJV)
One of the greatest revelations you must run with as you journey in your Christian walk is that you have moved from death to life. As unbelievable as this might sound, it remains the truth of the Gospel. You may not feel like it, you may not see it with your physical eyes but trust me, according to the scriptures you have moved from death to life. When Adam made that terrible mistake in the beginning, he died and this death came upon all men (Romans 5:17) and this made men to become slaves to the god of this age. This death (spiritual death) made man become subject to all kinds of manipulations from the devil but when Jesus our Lord came, all that changed.
He defeated death and took the keys of hell and death (Revelations 1:18). He came out of spiritual death through His resurrection and those of us who believe in His death, burial and resurrection are now alive in Him. His finished work, delivered us from death and brought us life. Today, we are alive to God, we are alive in Christ Jesus but the devil will stop at nothing to make you work in ignorance in this area. The devil will make sure he manipulates you and makes you feel you are still under his dominion. But refuse to allow it because truly, you are no longer under his dominion. Death and darkness no longer have legal hold on you. You have moved and you are alive in Him. Run with this truth and trust me you will ride above all the activities of death that the enemy tries to bring your way. Why? Because truly, life is at work for you now. And it’s for this reason, the Bible says, “…He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life….“I John 5:12 (NKJV). So, rejoice because you have life.

Confession for the Day
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for this truth you have communicated to me today. I decree therefore that death has no hold on me because I have moved from death to life. Life is at work in every area of my life, now and forever in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
