Taken with a remote and a little luck, this is my serenity now moment at Lake Tahoe.

Let go of your concerns! Then you will know that I am God. I rule the nations. I rule the earth. — Psalm 46:10 (GW)

Every day, as long as you live, you have a choice to make. You must decide who will control your life—you or God. Each day, we face these choices in our decisions, our actions, and our circumstances. Once you decide that God should be in control, let Him take charge and don’t try to grab the wheel back from Him.

Think about it: no one boards an airplane and worries about how the pilot will reach the destination. You don’t wonder if the pilot will get lost or take you to Judea instead of Damascus. There is an unspoken trust that says, “I paid to go to this destination, and even if I sleep the whole flight, I will wake up in the right place.” We exercise this kind of trust every day. If we can put so much faith in a fallible human being we cannot even see, shouldn’t we do the same with God?

Beloved, you must understand that God is the pilot of our lives. He leads us, shows us the way, and tells us where we should and shouldn’t go. Let His grace shine on you, and allow His power to move within you. Let God’s anointing flow through you, and let His Spirit have His way. In a nutshell, be patient and hand Him the keys.

If you simply let God take control, you will tell new stories and sing new songs. Your story won’t be one of a victim, but of a victor. The things that bring you stress and worry do not need to control your life. Your pain can come to an end if you truly stop trying to handle everything your own way. God has a perfect way of handling everything, which is why He tells us:

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. — Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV)

Did you see that? No matter what you face or go through, I implore you to let God have His way in your life, and everything will fall into place. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

When you understand the role God plays in your life, you stop worrying and just allow God to have His way!

Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your word. I choose this day to submit my will to Your will, because I know that no matter what happens, You are in control and all things are working together for my good in the name of Jesus. Amen!
