…so now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified…” Acts 20:32 (NKJV)

In our opening text, we see Paul the Apostle declaring his confidence in the word of God. He said to the brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified…” Acts 20:32 (NKJV). He insinuated that the Word is able to build you up and give you an inheritance. He had so much confidence in the Word and therefore, spoke of his confidence in the Word of God.

Now, what is the significance of this? If Paul the Apostle could have such confidence in God’s Word that he recommended it, it means you and I ought to operate on this same confidence because truly the Word works. Therefore, it is important that you live every day of your life placing your confidence in its potency. Appropriate it to your everyday life and exercise your faith in it. When it comes to your finances, apply it there. When it comes to your business apply it there and when it comes your marriage apply it there as well. There is nothing in this life that it cannot fix, if you apply it well. The question is will you apply it? Well, you should.

Today’s Rhema

The word works for those who put their trust in it, if you do, your case won’t be any different!

Confession for the Day

Thank you heavenly father for the potency of your word. My trust and confidence will continually be in your word and as I put the word to work it is indeed working for me in every area of my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
