“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” — 1 John 5:13 (NKJV)

Having established in the first part of this article the importance of living in the consciousness of the divine life at work in you, understand that symptoms and afflictions may still arise. We have an adversary—the devil—who never stops trying to bring sickness. But you have the authority in Christ to stand on your eternal life, to rebuke every symptom, every afflicting thought, and every attack.

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” — Mark 16:17–18 (NKJV)

This promise rests on the indestructible life of God in you. Jesus is the vine; you are the branch. The life that flows in Him flows in you. As long as He cannot be afflicted, neither can you.

Stay conscious of His life in you and refuse to let sickness have a foothold. Speak out what you believe—make declarations of health and wholeness. By giving voice to the life within, you activate its power in your body.

Today’s Rhema

The life that flows in the vine flows in the branches—Jesus’ life in you cannot succumb to affliction!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the divine life You have placed in me. I declare that this life is powerfully at work in my body, destroying every sickness and disease in Jesus’ name. Amen!
