“These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.” — 1 John 5:13 (NKJV)

In a world plagued by diseases and afflictions, it’s easy to slip into fear and doubt. You may become more aware of each new sickness headline than of the divine life you received through Jesus’ finished work. Yet, no matter what is happening around you, you must remain conscious of that eternal life at work within you.

This divine life is the gift of salvation that shields you from every known affliction—from the inside out. Although you might not feel or see it, the very life of Jesus dwells in you right now. Your awareness of this reality awakens its power.

Some Christians still fall ill, not because they lack divine life, but because they are ignorant of it and let that life lie dormant. The enemy then uses sickness as “proof” that you are just ordinary. But you are supernaturally kept by God’s own life.

As long as God cannot be afflicted, neither can you. Know who you are, stand your ground, and refuse to be deceived by temporary evidence. Let every headline, every report, drive you deeper into the reality of Christ living in you.

John wrote these words “so that you may know that you have eternal life…” to remind us to live daily in the reality of Christ’s life within. Make this your constant awareness, and you will walk in health and wholeness.

Today’s Rhema

As a Christian, the life of Jesus in you is a present‑hour reality—be conscious of it!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for the gift of eternal life. I declare that Your life in me destroys all sickness and keeps me whole, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

The gift of Divine life was imparted into my spirit at the time of my salvation, and it’s job is to shield me from every affliction both known and unknown. However, it is my consciousness of this divine life that activates it. I have to be conscious that the very life that is at work in Jesus is at work in me, if Jesus cannot call sick or be afflicted, so is my case. I will constantly meditate on this truth, Hallelujah!
