Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song, rejoice, and sing praises. —Psalms 98:4 (NKJV)

Sometimes life’s challenges stop at nothing to ensure you feel frustrated and depressed. These trials may push you to a point where you start regretting your very existence. However, as a believer, you must never allow the difficulties of life to overwhelm you to that extent. Irrespective of the hurdles you face, life remains a gift, and being alive is a distinct privilege.

I understand that pressures may feel overwhelming at times, but you must not let them define your identity. Always remember that regardless of your current struggles, vast prospects await you in your future. The possibilities before you are far greater than the challenges holding you back. Therefore, refuse to be consumed by what you go through.

Instead, choose to celebrate the gift of life and the privilege of living. While this may sound strange, things begin to ease for you when you honor the life you have been given. I admonish you today to look past your current pain and lift your hands in thanksgiving for all that the Father has done for you.

Remember that many people hoped to see this day but could not. Since you have the privilege of being alive, appreciate it and rejoice in the Master. Know that your current situation is only a transition to something greater. The Savior is working behind the scenes to turn your mourning into dancing.

The Word of God reminds us that our trials do not have the final say. As the Scripture states, For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory —2 Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV). Rejoice no matter what you face because your challenges are temporary, but the victories that lie ahead are eternal. Glory to God!

Today’s Rhema

Irrespective of the challenges you are facing, life is still a gift and to be alive is a privilege!

Confession for the Day

Thank You, Heavenly Father, for reminding me of how precious life is. I choose to celebrate every day of my life, honoring the gift of life and the privilege of living. I know that as I do, my possibilities are endless and my victories are established in the name of Jesus. Amen!
