“…as many that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God…” John 1:12 (NKJV)

Beloved, as you journey in your walk with God, one thing you must learn to do at all times, is to yield yourself to the leading of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God was given to you to guide and direct you in all your ways. With the Spirit of God in you, you cannot be confused in any way. At every point in your life, you will always know what to do. Many times, I find people making comments like “oh I am so confused, I don’t know what to do” the reason they make such comments is because they have not embraced the ministry of the Holy Ghost. In most cases, they do not even know that they have the Spirit of God in them or that He has a ministry to fulfill in their lives. So, they end up walking in the path of uncertainty and confusion.

However, this must change. If you are going to live a successful Christian life, you must learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. You must understand that the Holy Spirit is a master communicator; He speaks to us every time, He is there to grant you understanding when you need it most. He is there to direct you on what to do when you face difficult situations and to show you things to come. This is why Jesus said, “when He the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak and He will tell you things to come” John 16:13 (NKJV). What an Amazing statement from the lips of the Master! He said the Spirit of God will guide you into all truth which means nothing will be hidden from you, things will not take you unawares. You will always know things beforehand. From this you find that you cannot be confused. All you need to do is allow the Holy Spirit to take the lead in your life. Let Him guide your choices and decisions and you will watch your life move from glory to glory. Praise God!

Confession for the Day

Thank you Father, for reminding me of the need to let the Holy Spirit lead. I therefore decree that the grace to be fully yielded to the ministry of the Holy Spirit is at work in me. And as I yield, I am fruitful in all things and making real progress in the name of Jesus. Amen!
