“…For our life is a matter of faith, not of sight…” 2 Co 5:7 (GNT)
Now that we have seen several reasons why we should learn to exercise our faith, someone might ask, “how do I exercise my faith to produce results?” Well, the first step is to search the scriptures to know what God has said concerning you in various areas of life. For example, when it comes to health matters, you are to search the scriptures to know the provisions of God in this area.
Having done this, you must accept it like a little child and believe it. Sometimes, this is where many people miss it. They know what God has said concerning their situation but find it difficult to believe it and let it influence their actions. Therefore, you must carefully meditate on those things God has said and believe them, no matter the odds.
Sometimes, your circumstances may be different from what God has said, but that is where exercising your faith comes into play. You must stand your ground and refuse to be moved by circumstances. Instead, let what God has said become your motivation and stronghold. In fact, this motivation is what drives you to pray and declare the things God has said concerning you. When you begin to act like this in the face of adversity, you are exercising your faith, and trust me, when you operate like this, you will surely get the kind of results you never imagined. So, I admonish you today to take this seriously and exercise your faith at all times. By so doing, your testimonies will multiply.
