“My son, give me your heart and let your eyes observe and delight in my ways…” — Proverbs 23:26 (AMPC)

The influence of social media is increasing by the day, and while it comes with vast advantages, you’ll agree with me that it also comes with its own concerns. Today, you can find all kinds of information on social media. Some of it supports the Bible, while some goes against it. Even within the Christian fold, there is a lot of division and disagreement in doctrine. As a believer, if you are not careful, you could end up getting all your information from social media instead of from God. Therefore, it is important to be mindful of who is mentoring you.

Beloved, I want to admonish you to pay more attention to the Word of God because this will help you discern between what is real and what isn’t. If you are among those who do not study the Bible or seek to know God for yourself, you could easily fall for the wrong information out there.

To avoid this, I encourage you to yearn for God and His Word. Invest your time in knowing God intimately through His Word because this will help you build your life on the right foundation. Paul the Apostle understood the role and power of God’s Word, and he said, “…I commit you to God and to the word of His grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” — Acts 20:32 (NIV). So, make a conscious decision to know God through His Word and not through social media.

Today’s Rhema

Yearn to know God more through His Word!

Confession for the Day

The desire to know God more through His Word is growing in me, and as I give myself to this pursuit, I am growing in my knowledge of Him and doing exploits in Jesus’ name. Amen!
