“….Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life….” Proverbs 4:23 (NKJV)
Now that we have established the importance of keeping your heart from pollutants, someone might say but how is it possible to do that with all the hurts and betrayal in the world? Well, it is simple! The key is to walk in the Spirit because the Bible says, “….Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh….” Galatians 5:16 (NKJV). Did you see that? Walking in the Spirit is the key to living beyond the hurt and keeping your heart free from anything that will pollute your heart.
When you walk in the spirit, you will not walk in the flesh or give in to the desires of the flesh “….which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like…”Galatians 5:19-20 (NKJV). Instead, you will bear the fruit of the Spirit, which is “… love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness (and) self-control….”Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV). When you bear these fruits in your life, your heart will indeed be free from any of these things that pollute you and sabotage your lifting.
You might say, but it is not going to be easy, well, it becomes easy when you are truly submissive to Jesus and the Gospel He brought to us. You must understand that the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, came as a result of He himself submitting to the Fathers will. Now, it is your responsibility to do the same and you will watch your life move from glory to glory.

CONFESSION FOR TODAY
Glorious and everliving Father, I thank you for your counsel today which has brought me peace and light. I decree today that the grace to walk in this light is at work in me and I am bearing the fruit of the Spirit in Jesus name. Amen!
