“…For we fix our attention, not on things that are seen, but on things that are unseen. What can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever….”2 Corinthians 4:18 ( GNT)

Most times when people see the way things are going, they tend to judge according to what they see. For example when people go through some difficulties in their lives, instead of looking at the bigger picture or looking beyond what they are going through, they choose to see the gravity and the severity of the situation and when that is all they see? It becomes magnified in their lives and that becomes all their reality which is not supposed to be.

You must understand that looking at things just the way they are can go a long way to mislead you and make you make the wrong decisions. It can even worsen your situation. So, to avoid such things, it is best you judge by the spirit and not your eyes. When you judge by the Spirit, you look beyond what you can see. In our opening text the Bible says “…what can be seen lasts only for a time, but what cannot be seen lasts forever….”2 Corinthians 4:18 ( GNT)

So, as your journey in your walk with God, it is important that you learn to judge things by the Spirit. Judge the situation, that health issue or business failure that you are facing by the Spirit because all you see is not all there is. There is always more to what the eyes can see and the moment you begin to judge by the Spirit, you will certainly come out of that situation victoriously or make the right decisions. Hallelujah!

Today’s Rhema

Learn to look beyond what the eyes can see and judge by the Spirit!

Confession for the Day

Father, am grateful for this inspired counsel. I am inspired today to look beyond the physical. I choose to judge by the Spirit and as I do this, I am making the right decisions and taking the right actions in the name of Jesus. Amen!
