“…but they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold two men stood by them in shining garments, then as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but is risen…”- Luke 24:2-6 (NKJV)
Sometimes, life can seem tough because of the situation that you find yourself in, but whatever happens, I need you to always remember that it is for this reason that Jesus Christ the second Adam came. The mistake of the first Adam brought sin, pain and suffering into the world but you see, Jesus Christ came and paid the price for you and me, so that the storms of life should no longer have a say in your life. He did what He did, so you should no longer go through pain and sorrows. In Isaiah 53:4 the Bible declares that “…surely He has borne our grief and carried our sorrows, verse 5 says “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities and the chastisement of our peace was upon…”
In Romans 4:25, the Bible declares that He was delivered up for our offenses and was raised because of our justification. From this, you discover that all you would have gone through in judgment was already laid on Jesus. He took your place so that you can have His place, He was your substitute, and He paid the debt you could have paid on the cross. He went to hell and defeated the devil and the source of all sufferings were completely sorted out. Today, the tomb is empty because Jesus Christ has risen and you are in His place now. He rose from the dead in victory and that victory belongs to you too. So I encourage you to cheer up today and confront your situations with boldness. Death could not hold Jesus in the grave and therefore, no situation is big enough to swallow you up. When He rose, you rose also, therefore refuse to be moved by any situation because in all that you go through, you are more than a conqueror. Hallelujah!
Today’s Rhema
Jesus already took your place, now no situation is big enough to swallow you up!
Confession for the Day
Because Jesus Christ has risen, I therefore declare that I rise above every situation in my life and in all that I go through I take charge and dominate in all things. I walk in boldness and not in fear. I walk in greatness and I triumph in all things. Principalities and powers are disarmed in my life in the name of Jesus. Amen!
