“For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 GNT)
The Christmas season serves as a profound reminder of the depth of God’s love. It celebrates the incredible truth that God loved us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the ultimate price for our redemption. As our opening verse reveals, “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not die but have eternal life” (John 3:16 GNT). This verse confirms God’s boundless love and the extraordinary lengths He went to demonstrate it.
Perhaps the devil has been feeding you lies, making you feel unloved or abandoned by God. Maybe you’re facing challenges that make you question whether God truly cares. Let me assure you, these thoughts are nothing but lies from the pit of hell. The undeniable proof of God’s love for you is found in Jesus Christ. For centuries, His coming was a promise, and God fulfilled that promise by sending His Son to save us.
If God went to such great lengths to send Jesus to pay the ultimate price for you, is there anything He wouldn’t do for you? As Paul writes, “If God is for us, who can be against us? Certainly not God, who did not even keep back His own Son, but offered Him for us all! He gave us His Son—will He not also freely give us all things?” (Romans 8:31-32 GNT).
Did you see that? God’s act of sending His Son guarantees His willingness to provide for your needs because His love for you is unchanging and inexhaustible.
So, as you celebrate Christmas this season, remember: God loves you deeply and has gone the extra mile to demonstrate it. Your role is to embrace this truth, live in its reality, and rejoice in His unfailing love. Hallelujah!
