For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 NKJV)
If you ask most people today where they’ll be after they depart from this world, many—even Christians—will admit they’re unsure. They may say, “I’ve accepted Jesus, but I’m not certain I’ll make heaven because of my mistakes or errors.” If you’re reading this and feel the same way, I have good news for you: You can be certain of your eternal destiny. Jesus became your substitute in judgment, took your place in death, and paid the ultimate price with His blood so you can be with Him forever. He did this to qualify you to be with the Father after this life. Your responsibility is to live daily in the truth of this reality and refuse to let the devil convince you otherwise. When Jesus accomplished all He did for you, He became your ark of safety. Just as Noah’s ark provided safety, being in Christ ensures your security—unless you choose to reject Him along the way.
So, I urge you to have faith in Jesus not only as your Lord and Savior but also as your ark of safety and security. He is your life insurance—for this world, the afterlife, and eternity. All you need to do is align yourself with His Word and obey His will. True safety is found in following His instructions, not your own opinions or desires. Acting on your own leads to death, but following His plan brings life. Jesus said, “Whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand; and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24-26 NKJV). Did you see that? Build your life on Jesus and His principles, for He is not only your Lord but also your ark of safety. Praise God!
