“…So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit…”John 19:30 (NKJV)
Sometimes the devil will throw all sorts of attacks on you and make it look as though you will never come out of it. He will amplify these attacks to the point where you begin to think that it is all over. He will make you begin to think that this is the end for you but no matter what the enemy throws at you, it is important for you to understand that our Lord Jesus Christ already gave you victory through His finished work. When He was hanging on the cross He said, “…He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit…” John 19:30 (NKJV)
Now, you are in a place of victory and not defeat. No matter what you face or go through, it is important to understand that our Lord Jesus already laid a foundation of victory for you and if you choose to stay strong and fight for your right and put your faith to work, you will certainly come out victorious.
You may be going through some very tough times right now, all hell may have broken loose against you, and situations may be working against you, but don’t lose heart. You already have victory in Christ Jesus. You just need to take advantage of this victory and build on this foundation. You might say but how do I do this? It’s simple by applying the weapons of warfare that our Lord Jesus Christ has made available. He has has shed His blood and made His name available. He has also made His word and principles available to us. All you need to do is use it and watch the power of God show forth in your life. The challenge many believers face today is that they don’t apply the word or use the name in times of difficulties, so the enemy takes advantage of this and continues to prevail in their lives which is completely an error. But you can change this and make a conscious decision to fight and not keep quiet. Remember, the Bible says “…from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force…” Matthew 11:12 (NKJV)
Today’s Rhema
If you will choose to fight for your right, you will certainly be victorious in all things!
Confession for the Day
Glorious and ever living Father, I thank you for the victory you have given to me in Christ Jesus. I choose this day to take advantage of it and enforce my victories in the name of Jesus. Amen!
