“…and suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: ‘Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men…’” Luke 2:13‭-‬14 (NKJV)

Hurray! It’s Christmas and one of the things that the Christmas celebration reminds us of is the peace that our Lord Jesus Christ brought to us. Before, He came to this world, man had no peace and no hope for peace with God. Man’s relationship with God was in bad shape because of the sin of the first man, Adam. As a result, we were separated from God with no way to be reconciled.

But God sent His Son, Jesus Christ into the world to pay the ultimate price for our sins. Today, all men can be reconciled back to God through the cleansing power of His blood. Before, He left the world, He said “…Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid…” John 14:27 (NKJV). Did you see that?

Beloved, I want you to become conscious of this truth as we celebrate Christmas this year. Believe in the peace that our Lord Jesus Christ has brought to you. Remember, through His finished work, you are now reconciled to God and God is at peace with you. The Bible says “…you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight—Colossians 1:21‭-‬22 (NKJV).

So, have no worries and refuse to allow the lack of money or anything or anybody take your peace away this Christmas season. I wish you a glorious Christmas celebration.

Today’s Rhema

Jesus Christ came into this world to give us peace, therefore refuse to allow anything or anybody take your peace away!

Confession for the Day

Father, I am grateful for sending your son Jesus Christ to pay the ultimate price for me. I choose this day to rest in the provisions of the finished work and to have peace. I reject anything or anyone who would want to take my peace away and as I do this, I bask more and more in the glory of the Lord in Jesus name. Amen!
